We have coordinated discounted lodging at the Courtyard Marriott on 200 Technology Center Drive in Stoughton. The cost is $79 per night and is a short drive to the Ceremony site.

If you intend to stay in the area for an extended period of time, or wish to make you short stay “rounder” than a hotel, our hall coordinator highly recommends Candlewood Suites on 235 Wood Road, in Braintree, 3 miles from our reception hall. Contact 781-849-7450 for more information.

Another alternative is the Marriott Residence Inns. There are a series of Inns in the towns of Dedham, Foxborough, and surrounding areas.

Your presence is the greatest gift you could give us. However, should you wish to supplement it, we have opted out of a wedding registry in favor of a Traditional Wishing Well, which will be on display in our reception hall. We felt this was the most pragmatic solution to our lack of space in the small Lowell one-bedroom apartment in which we will reside. For fiscal reasons, we foresee this as a long-term living arrangement. If you are still in favor of giving tangibly, our shower registry may be accessed at Bed, Bath and Beyond (opens with a new window).

Boston

The Boston area is one of the most photographed and celebrated cities in the United States, offering the best it has to offer in history, arts, education, science, cuisine, and culture. Due to its structural history, the city is not “driver” friendly and is best navigated by walking and using the MBTA subway system (the “T”). Fare tokens are as little as $ 1.25 one way, but optimal value is found in the day passes, which allow unlimited subway travel for the time periods purchased. Another way to view the city is by trolley car and the amphibious duck tour. Walking tours through the Freedom Trail are great exercise and offer a virtual Senator Ted Kennedy (complete with accent) on audio to guide you along the historic path. Sports fans can catch a Celtics game at the Fleet Center, or enjoy a Red Sox game at historic Fenway Park (don’t forget your anti-Yankees paraphernalia). New England and Beyond

Boston is an hour and a half away from Cape Cod , which is a short boat ride to the islands. The city is also an hour and a half from Newport, Rhode Island, home of America’s gilded era; three-hours to New York City, and two hours to the casinos of Connecticut. It is a little over an hour to Providence, RI. If you do not wish to drive to these cities, buses and trains will depart from Boston and direct you where you want to go.
